Do you see geometric patterns when the lights are out?!

Question: Do you see geometric patterns when the lights are out.?
In absolute darkness, I see subtle yet bizarre geometrical patterns, with thousands of very dim points of light, arranged in a crystalline type formation.. Anyone else see those things.? I have had this experience ever since I was 13 or 14 years old! Anyone have any info or scoop on this.?Health Question & Answer

I see patterns, but I don't know if mine are as intricate as yours!!
Something that I find very odd, but I have never asked anyone else if they have the same thing happen, but, for instance, if I am laying in the dark.... in the quiet.... and a loud noise startles me.... i see for half a second (with my eyelids closed) a pattern that looks like a tv on a scramble channel.. Its like.... black and white and it just looks very fuzzy.. Hard to describe but the "scramble channel" would best describe it..
That may have been off topic just a bit, but yeah.. :)Health Question & Answer

When I was little, I used to entertain myself with this kind of thing while trying to fall asleep! I've also always wondered about how, in absolute darkness, when you push on the corner of your closed eyelid, you can see "light" around a globe shape.. I'm sure it has to do with the optic nerve as well, but it's still pretty cool! Another one of my favorites is when you're staring at a clear blue sky or just a plain white ceiling (no popcorn surface) you can see the geometric type shapes formed by little "globs" kind of moving around.. This is NOT the same as the little movers that rise and fall when you slightly twitch your eye (those are supposedly pieces of blood vessels trapped inside the jelly-part of the back of your eye when it was being formed in utero.. Isn't the human body COOL.?!Health Question & Answer
