Question: My Vet gave me the wrong dose of advantix two weeks ago and I did not know it until it was applied...?
I have a pet shihtzu 7..5 lbs and advantix was applied for a 21 to 55 lb dog.. When confronting the vet after explaining numerous adverse reactions, he said "assuming this is her problem" it should go away.. Has anyone had a similar experience.? Will my dog get better.? She is eating if you put it in front of her and will urinate if you make her go outside, otherwise she just stays on a chair, (will not play or walk around) and acts like something hurts or annoys her in her rear area..Health Question & Answer
Answers:
Wash your dog...... scrub.... do this over and over.. It should help.. Scrub every day if you must...... make sure to feed fish oil over top of the dog's food and use dog conditioner since this will likely dry out your dog's skin.. Good luck! Find a new vet!Health Question & Answer
I went to the vet to get frontline for my cats and they gave me dogs! I called them to make sure its safe and they said it was.. Then after that my cat ate a dogs Heartgard medicine and hes right next to me and still kickin it!
Ive had lots of weird things happen like that..
but I would deff go up to that vets office and pretty much be an *** to them........if your dog doesnt want to move much and acts like her booty hurts then thats a sign you gotta do something..

You should see the symptoms disappear.. If they don't subside within the next few days, find another vet..Health Question & Answer
