How do i alleviate nerve pain in my lower body and how am i causing it??!

Question: How do i alleviate nerve pain in my lower body and how am i causing it.?.?
A while back I had sever sharp pain in my lower back that a specialist told me was due to my Illia joint being tilted and pinching the nerve.. I had a child and the illia nerve pain seems to have eased up (maybe my joints were loosened up).. NOW, i just did something and have had nerve pain in my inner thigh from my sciatic nerve for over 2 weeks.. How is this happening and how can I prevent it.?.? also i used to go to a chiropracter and that gave me relief BUT insurance doesn't cover it and it is too expensive to go the 2 times a week that it takes to relieve the pain.. Any ideas to alleviate the pain.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Both iliac and sciatic nerve pain are difficult to treat.. You may have had some trauma to your iliac /sciatic nerves sometime in the past.. Part of the cause can be muscle swelling, pushing on the nerves and causing pain.. Part of it is direct pressure on the nerve or trauma to the nerve..
The best therapy I have found for that kind of pain is aquatherapy, where you do a series of gentle stretches in a warm pool(preferably about 86 degrees).. Sometimes on the ground PT is too much for the effected areas- sounds like you have that issue..
It takes time to get rid of the pain- and sometimes, it stays with you and flares up now and again..
