Question: What to do when someone is drunk.?
Tonight my next door neighbor had a small neighborhood party with her friends including my mom and my friend, I had a friend over and diddnt go.. Well my friend drank a lil too much and I herd him go home, later wen i was outside I heard coughing and climbed the fence to see if he was ok.. His pants were almost off, he was unconcious, woke up for a minute didnt know wer he was and fell off of the couch onto the floor then he started puking.. I am really scared and dont know what to do and feel bad becuase i left him to ask this question.. He is really, really, realy, really, really, really, really drunk and puking.. He was on his back but he started to puke and i was worried that he may choke on it and rolled him onto his side.. I need real anwers, im worried, plz HELP!Health Question & Answer
Answers:
Rolling him to his side helps stop the vomit from going into his wind pipe.. You did the right thing..
Tooooo many teenagers and EVEN adults do not know that vomiting after or during drinking is actually alcohol poisoning.. You should get and adult(a sober one) to help you keep and eye on him, if things do not change I'd get him to a doctor right away..
He was lucky to have you near.. You may have saved his life by just moving him to his side..

It's not a great idea to put him to bed if he's still puking.. You probably ought to keep an eye on him.. Rehydration is a good idea, but only if he's fully conscious and not puking - you don't want him to drown in his own vomit.. If he's at the stage you describe, that's beyond "drunk" and into the realms of "acute alcohol poisoning".. Might be an idea to seek medical attention for him..Health Question & Answer

sounds as if he got a good dose of alchol poisoning it does happen well you didn't get him to hospital so just let his throw it up and oh boy!!! hes gonna be sooo sorry..

Keep an eye on him so he doesn't choke (or do something dangerous).. That's the most important thing..
If he can keep anything down, coffee or water or Gatorade is a good idea.. He needs to get re-hydrated..
Clean him up with a washcloth (I assume he's too drunk to shower).. Then, put him to bed..
He should wake up with a big hangover, but he'll be fine..

If he is unconscious you call the ambulance! Don't worry if you are not supposed to be there.. If he isn't unconscious try calling a family member of his starting with a non-parent of his,but if needed call his parents or an ambulance.. If your friend is so drunk that he's puking in his sleep after passing out, call your mom RIGHT NOW and worry about the consequences later.. He may have blood poisoning from the alcohol.. Better to be in trouble and a little embarassed than to live with a fatal mistake the rest of your life..
