Some doctors prefer the patient to be asleep.. Some of the crap they do during surgery could freak some patients out.. Depends on the surgery.. I was knocked out for my hernia operation.. After seeing the scar for the incision, I think I made the right choice.. But then I'm a bit squeamish about that kind of thing..Health Question & Answer
