If it is on the left side it is not your appendix......if everything else is normal......No fever......no vomiting......No constipation (have you had a bowel movement(pooped) in the last few days.?)and you are Not on your period then it sounds like ovulation pain (ovary on that side releasing an egg) if the pain gets excessive you need to see a Doctor.. Right now lie down, apply a warm towel or heating pad and relax..Health Question & Answer

First off anybody who tells you its an appendix problem, IS WRONG! Your appendix is on your RIGHT side not your left........and i don't necessarily know what it is but i get the same pains frequently.. It might be because you are ovulating or are about to start your period..

I would take a warm bath to soothe and relax you..
HOPE YOU FELL BETTER!!!!!Health Question & Answer

Try drinking some water.. ALOT! And take a hot bath for thirty minutes or so.. It should help some.. And you don't necessarily NEED insurance to go to the doctor.. Your mom should now.. You could probably even go to the health department or clinic.. You need to get checked out by a professional ASAP..Health Question & Answer

umm well if has something to do with your appendix you must have lifted something.. you should be OK just try not to eat any greasy foods.. pain reliever should help and try to lie down as much as you can..Health Question & Answer

Sound kind of like a appendix problem.. If it doesn't quit you will have to go to the dr.. I know it is costly without ins but it's better to go and get help then to suffer..Health Question & Answer

it may be a uti you need cranberry pills and water but if in a day if it is still there go to the ER and get antibiotics.. they have help out there for the bill..Health Question & Answer

Well it can't be an appendix problem because the appendix is on the right side.. To be a little more specific, it is in what we call the right lower quadrant of the abdomen; meaning if you divide your abdomen into four sections, it's in the lower one on the right.. If you draw a diagonal line from your umbilicus(belly button) down to your hip bone on the right, the appendix is usually about 2/3 of the way down this line to the bone.. To test if you need to go to the hospital or if it is really serious is to lie down on your back and pull one of your legs to your chest kind of like an exercise move.. If you have sharpe knife pain right were your thigh and hip/stomach met then it is serious depending on what side the pain is.. also take your temperature and if it is high( higher that 98..6) that is a bad sign too.. If you are suffering an appendicitis you will also have nausea and fever and your white blood cell count will be high.. Remember: if you lay flat on your back bring your right leg up and it causes pain then it's your appendix.. Everyone is different in pain so just don't do any hard work or kicks if you do sports..

But anyways......since you said it was on the left side it might just be a strong bruse or a seroius problem so pain should never be ignored! Pain or tenderness in the lower left side of the abdomen, along with fever.. You may also have nausea, vomiting, chills, stomach cramps, and either diarrhea or constipation.. This is called Diverticulitis.. See a doctor immediately.. If you have sharp abdominal pain along with fever, chills, swelling, or nausea and vomiting, call 911 or go to an emergency room right away.. You may have peritonitis, a life-threatening infection of the abdominal cavity..

***If your pain starts to spread along your lower back area and in the front and back of your body it's serious!***

There are doctors that should be available for people that have no health insurance b/c i'm in the same situation that u are in!!! Just to tell you right now......it doesn't sound very serious.. You might just be having irregular period pains, but you never know..
