You might want to say at least a week, for a stab wound to the arm and some broken ribs which remember doctors can't fix ribs.. Stab wounds unless are hititng an artery or part of a joint or something like that depending how deep and what not are not as major in hospitals unless someone is gonna be paralyzed or something to that matter.. Now a days a hospital may keep you for that kinda stuff maybe 2 weeks.. Thats a big MAYBE in New York hospitals lol..Health Question & Answer

depends on the person, their age......the stab to the arm....depends on if surgery is needed if nerves are damaged.? People are not generally hospitalized for a couple broken ribs unless they are elderly or have other underlying disorders.. If the arm just needs stitches there would be no hospitalization....treat and release..Health Question & Answer

This is an unasnwerable question.. Every case is different.. It's based on the Dr's, the patients progress in Rehab.. His/her pain tolerance.. Their lab values..Health Question & Answer

For the story I would estimate a week to 10 days..Health Question & Answer
