See if they are responsive..
If not, check their airway, breathing and circulation..
If they are breathing, place in recovery position..
If there is no massive hemorrhaging and they are not breathing, give two breaths.. No pulse, start CPR..
If there is massive bleeding, you can try to control that first.. They need to have blood to push around during CPR..
also, if you are alone, you call 911 after you give two breaths but before you start CPR.. For a child, you do 5 cycles of CPR before calling..Health Question & Answer
