I need some helpful techniques for my friend to quit smoking?!


Question: I need some helpful techniques for my friend to quit smoking.?
He wants to quit but thinks it'll be to hard..

So I am making him a list of stuff that might help....
Please add to my list or correct it if you feel any are stupid..


Ex:
You can chew gum or eat a few mints when you feel you need a cigarette, to keep you distracted and doing something..
Tea! It has a high source of anti-oxidants; meaning it will help protect you from disease and raise your immunity system.. By raising your immunity system it also causes you to have spurs of energy (similar from what you would get from a cup of coffee or a can of soda) which in itself distract you from your depression..
You can also by a lot of your favorite candy (it might get expensive, but its better than wasting it on nicotine).. If your a candy person, you should know it can put you in a state of ecstasy..

Or you can just take him to a hospital where someone is dying of cancer from smoking ciggarettes..I've seen it, it was my gramps......and it broke my heart so bad I didn't want to smoke any more..Health Question & Answer

This is a rough one becuase most people will not stop unless they are really ready and willing.. However, there is a treatment you can get to help stop.. My finace had gone to a doctor to help him stop smoking and they used this laser and shot it in his ear.. It does not hurt, you do not even feel it.. Somehow this worked for him.. Call your doctor and ask about this procedure.. Or research it online..Health Question & Answer
