I sleep 3 hours a day?!


Question: I sleep 3 hours a day.?
usually from 4pm - 7pm.. sometimes i don't get any sleep or may sleep a few hours during the night instead but i get a very minimal amount.. i was anorexic for a long while which gave me insomnia so i was unable to sleep.. i got used to living off little sleep and food and as i'm in recovery now i find it so much easier with energy from food.. i've never got back into the sleeping thing, i'm alright living off this, is it okay.? i'm a 16 year old female by the way, fairly activeHealth Question & Answer

No, baby............Old people may only require 4-6 hours of sleep....BUT you are a young person, still growing, mentally and physically, need sleep to rejuvenate your body and mind........

3 hours is a little less than average, but obviously all your body is asking for..

See your doc, they wont give out any sedatives but might be able to suggest some lifestyle changes..
I used to sleep 2 or 3 hours a day, i used to get tired in early evening then not be able to sleep at night, now i stay awake as long as possible and sleep right through..

Three hrs is definitely not enough sleep.. I would be a zombie if I only got 3 hrs of sleep.. I usually function well on 6 1/2 to 8 hrs.. I suggest you try taking some herbal remedies to help you fall asleep and if this doesn't work then go and see a doctor for help..Health Question & Answer

Heck no it's not good living that way.. The average human is REQUIRED to sleep at least 8 hours a day.. And how much you sleep is basically a NAP.. There's no way you could possibly be active like that..Health Question & Answer
