Question: Can you get sick from not sleeping for 5 days.?
My puppy has Parvo and I'm trying to nurse him back to health.. It has been 5 days since treatment and I'm doing home care.. I think average I have slept each night is about 3 hrs......so I wanna say I slept 15 hours in 5 days.. But now I am starting to feel weak, and feel like I am getting a fever.. Can I be sick because I have not slept very well.? I am forced to stay up all day and night because my puppy needs pedialite every 30 minutes.. So that means I get roughly 20 minutes of sleep at a time.. I was just wondering if that is why.. But even if that is the reason, I still won't be able to sleep until my puppy gets better (and I don't have a thousand dollars to pay the vet upfront to keep him there......)..Health Question & Answer

Pedialite every 30 minutes.? The pup should be at the Vet's with a IV.. Of course the lack of sleep can make you sick.. See if you can get some one to share the care of the dog with.. And don't forget, the pup isn't getting any sleep either if it has to have fluids every 30 minutes..

YOU MAY GET SERIOUSLY SICK.. COME ON ....DON'T SLEEP LESS THAN 7 HOURS A DAY IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOU HEALTHY! UNLESS YOU WILL GET WEAK AND YOU MAY START TO LOOSE CONCENTRATION HENCE YOU CAN GET SERIOUS HEALTH PROBLEM THAT MAY COST YOU A LOT , YOU AND YOUR FAMILY..Health Question & Answer
