Question: My dad and sister may have eaten bits of glass.?
ok so my dad was kind of stupid.. he opened the fridge and a glass bowl with some lettuce in it fell on the floor and broke.. he threw all the glass away and the lettuce, which may have glass in it he ate it after he washed it.. I think that even if you wash it there may be some glass in the lettuce.. now I'm scared that my dad and my sister ate glass and i don't think glass is good to eat......are they going to be ok.? if they did eat glass it's probably really tiny.. are there any symtpoms I should look for.?Health Question & Answer

Vomiting with blood in it, Diarrhea w/ blood in it, poop w/ blood in it.. Abdominal pains..
It sounds to me like they will be fine.. They could eat some bread and milk that will help encase the tiny bits of glass if they happened to ingest any..

Any piece of glass large enough or sharp enough to cause damage would have been felt in the mouth and presumably not swallowed..
I'm sure they're fine I would stop worrying and watching for symptoms.. Dad is old enough to wash a lettuce properly and old enough to know if he is ill.. He's the same dad that looked out for you not a few years ago.. You trusted him then, why don't you trust him now.?Health Question & Answer

I think they'll be fine.. Btw hun, I used to be paranoid like you all the time and it just makes you anxious.. Dont worry about it, if they complain about pain then get help, which i highly doubt cuz they washed the lettuce..Health Question & Answer
