Question: *****PLZ.. READ! How long would you be hospitalized if...... PT..2.?*****.?
Okay I'm writing a story, and this guy get's stabbed in the arm and a couple of broken ribs..

Here's some information about him:

-He's in his 20's
-He's healthy
-Kinda muscular
-Stabbed about 3 or 4 inches below his shoulder, and went in REALLY deep, like 2 or 3 inches in with a (clean) knife
-About 2 or 3 broken ribs

How long would he be hospitalized.?

Stab wounds are usually something thats takken care of in the ER.. I'm a nurse so I'm familiar with them.. The broken ribs they usually get an exra and wrap them.. There's nothing you can really do with broken ribs.. If they didnt send this person home the same night, then the most hes kept over night for observation..Health Question & Answer

i'd say a few days maybe a week.. it honestly i think depends on his personality.. some people who really don't want to be in the hospital and want to get back to regular life work really hard to get out of the hospital and stuff in a few days.. others could stay for months just letting others take care of them..Health Question & Answer
