Question: I just took my first shower since surgery and my incision has a bit of yellow-greenish puss now......is that bad.?

I had a bunionectomy with osteotomy and have steri-strips on now.. I did have sutures but got them removed yesterday.. Am I ok or should I call the doctor.?Health Question & Answer

I had the same problem with my neck recently after surgery on my right Carotid artery.. You have most likely softened a small scab, but if the wound is weeping or inflamed or itchy or painful then call into the medical centre at your GP's.. Better safe than sorry..Health Question & Answer
