Question: No sleep 3 days - im not sleepy at all.?
So I'm at work now, i've gone for 72 hours without sleep and could push 90 by the time I start work tommorow...... Why am I not sleepy.? I cant sleep and I dont have any dizziness, hallucinations, etc...... My friend says its psychological (depression.?)......Health Question & Answer

It will lead to psychological problems.. It is probably physiological at this point.. You may not be aware of sleep deprivation symptoms but without sleep our brains deteriorate, and if the argument that brain=behavior is true, then your behavior will also suffer accordingly.. sometimes people just can't sleep but after awhile your body crashes and you could sleep for 48 hours and then do it all over again somethings you might want to try is filling the bath tub up with warm water just to your ankles and sitting on the edge of the tube until the water becomes cool while you are sitting there drink you a cup of warm sleepy time tea another thing to try is putting a eye mask over your eyes at night and close your eyes think about nothing at all and listen to soft slow classical this is a good stress reliever as well..Health Question & Answer
