Question: I feel a slight pain/feeling in my heart when i breathe in, could it be due to bad weightlifting.?
i haven't done any weightlifting for 1-2 weeks now but when i breathe in it hurts on my left side by my heart.. its not a terrible pain, but i can feel it the more i breathe in

is it something to be worried about or should i just make sure when it's better i exercise better e..g better breathing techniques etcHealth Question & Answer


Answers:
It's extremely unlikely to be your heart unless you know of any possible conditions you may have (hereditary etc..) It may be slight damage to costal cartilages, or damage from pressure put on the thoracic cavity - chest exercises will do this w/poor technique..

Apart from that it may be muscular - intercostals externi, which aid in inspiration or a similar muscle..
