Answers:
No ...... you don't..

Deep vein thrombosis can kill you because it causes blood clots in the veins of your leg(s), which can travel through your bloodstream, etc..

It's usually caused by sitting or remaining inactive for long periods of time, notably long airplane trips, or constantly crossing your legs..

The small vein you see on the front of your leg could have been caused by many things, even your contraceptive.. Or you may have slightly injured your leg while running ...... leg veins just do become more prominint and visible the older you get..Health Question & Answer

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot in a deep vein, often in the legs.. Symptoms of it include leg pain, lack of a pedal pulse, coolness, redness, and/or swelling of the affected leg.. If you quickly flex your foot upward (like when you stretch it, using a wall) or if you squeeze your calf and it hurts a lot, you might want to call the doc.. DVTs are dangerous because not only do they decrease the circulation to the affected area, but there's a risk of them dislodging and traveling up to your lungs causing pulmonary emboli (clots in the lungs' blood vessels)..

Your little blue vein sounds more like a spider vein or something to me.. DVTs usually don't show up superficially like that..Health Question & Answer

What you have sounds more like a spider vein or varicose vein.. If you are in doubt seek medical help..Health Question & Answer
