I bought an aloe vera plant a few years ago and it had one wonders for me.. If you can find this plant, cut the leaf off and slice it in half and rub the gel over your sunburn.. the potency of the active chemical is so much higher in the plant itself than any lotion or bottled stuff that your sunburn will feel better within hours.. I've had very bad burns from stoves and such and bandaged the burns with the aloe leaf (the insides, jelly stuff to the burn) on the burn and within hours, the burn is gone and is barely visible..

If you cannot get a plant, apply aloe vera gel to the burn many times a day (as often as you want, it doesn't matter how much you use, the more the better).. Then, after a few days, keep it moist with some mild lotion..

White, cotton tshirts are the best and the softest.. Don't wear gray, it tends to be the color that itches the most..Health Question & Answer

Buy some lotion with some aloe in it.. You can ask a pharmacist at the store what they would recommend if you want.. If it hurts really bad, you could probably take some ibuprofen or tylenol.. If you're a guy, you can try not wearing a shirt whenever possible.. If you're a girl, try wearing something like a sleeveless shirt or a spaghetti strap shirt..
