Answers:
Your sed rate (ESR) -is high, could be related to your thyroid problem, or Lupus, some immune stuff is going on..(also maybe pregnancy)
Protein -is good
AlkPhos -is a little high, could mean liver or bone disease, this is a broad test, it can be narrowed down to be more specific (is also produced by a placenta, or could be related to liver damage)
Chol/HDL-very good, you are at very low risk for cardiovascular disease
TSH- you already know, continue with regular testing until you get it into the normal range of 5 or less
RBC, hgb,Hct- you are slightly anemic
RDW- your anemia is probably related to a folic acid deficiency which can cause major birth defects if you are pregnant, but is frequently associated with alcoholism..
your UA shows that you have a urinary tract infection (nitrates are bacteria poop) and the blood should be worked up immediately
Are you pregnant.? or do you drink a lot of alcohol.? I hope not both..Health Question & Answer

ESR is a Sedimentation Rate, it provides information to the physician about possible inflammation/infection.. Total protein is just that, the total amount of protein in your blood, that result is not too bad.. Alkaline Phosphotase or Alk Phos, is a liver enzyme there are 2 sources for this enzyme bone and liver.. If you are younger and growing this will be elevated.. Chol/HDL Ratio, is essentially your risk of developing heart disease, it is a calculation in which your Cholesterol Result is divided by your HDL.. HGB (hemoglobin) and HCT (hematocrit) provides your doctor with information reguarding presence or lack of anemia.. These results are not to far off of normal (with exception of TSH), sounds like you may have a UTI with there being blood and nitrite in your urine.. Nitrite is indicative of a bacterial infection.. But the only person that can diagnose you is your doctor.. They need to interpret these results with your medical history, and signs and symptoms.. These tests results can mean a lot more, lab results must be interpreted, and it takes a lot more information that just the results to tell you what they mean.. Other factors including age and sex, are also critical in determining whether or not your labs are "normal".. Hope this helps your understanding of your results.. If your doctor suspects you have lupus they should do a ANA titer, this would give him/her the information he would need for that diagnosis..Health Question & Answer
