Answers:
No, I occasionally have fluid aspirated from my knee joint or joints because of recurring bursitis.. This relieves the fluid pressure and eases the pain.. The doctor gently inserts an ordinary syringe and needle, pulls back slowly, and draws out the fluid.. Then, without removing the needle, he pops out the fluid filled tube and inserts a new tube filled with Novocaine and cortisone and injects back into the joint for swelling and pain relief.. It is almost painless.. But I have yet to see a "reverse syringe.."Health Question & Answer
