I HAVE KNEE PROBLEMS AND THEY NORMALLY DONT HURT THAT BAD BUT LATELY THEY HAVE BEEN GIVING OUT ALOT MORE THEN NORMAL IT HAPPENS LIKE 3 TIMES A DAY AND NOW THEY REALLY HURT FOR NO REASON
IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO HELP THE PAIN BESIDES MEDS CUZ I HAVE TO WORK TOMORROW AND I DONT WANT TO BE KINDA DRUGGED UP
P..S.. WEN I WAS YOUNGER I GOT PUSHED OFF A PLAY SCAPE AND BROKE MY LEG
is there anything i can do for it at home for those times it acts up like now

Ok, where does it hurt.? The knee is really complex..
Skeletal wise, there's a joint between the leg bones with the knee cap protecting the front.. There's A LOT of connective tissue connecting the bones and muscles..
Muscle wise, there's connections to the thigh muscles and calves, along with your AT and IT bands and hamstrings......
If it's muscle or connective tissue, Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation (above the chest).. If it's bone or cartlidge you need a professional..
A third option...... Sometimes severe knee problems can be caused by inflexability.. If you can't put one leg against a wall and one leg on the ground at about a 90 degree angle, then it may be a flexability problem.. Try stretching for a few days..Health Question & Answer

definetly go to you doctor before it gets worse.. My friends knee was\hurting and she didn't do enything about it and now she was to get a 4 thousand dollar surjary to fix it or she'll never be able to walk again.. so call in sick and GO TO THE DOCTOR! &heart;Health Question & Answer
