Medical dye injection?!
Question: Medical dye injection.?
My Dad was taken into hospital tonight because of something wrong with his bowels (I think the details are still sketchy)..
It's nothing too serious but the doctor injected him with dye to examine him and I was wondering is there anyone who's ever had it done or could tell me a bit about it.? I know a little but I was just curious about how it works, how long it takes to leave your system and if it makes you feel strange at all..

It shouldn't effect him at all.. Usually the dye gets absorbed into the system and is barely noticed after the test.. It allows the doctor to see if there is a serious problem or leak or blockage.. Your dad should not have any probs with test.. I hope they figure out what's wrong! Good luck!Health Question & Answer
