I was in the shower earlier today when suddenly (like in an instant) this massive pain in my neck appeared.. It was like a frickin gun shot, honestly!
Pain, usually doesn't bother me, I'll never take painkillers etc.. for anything.. But this is bad.......... I just can't convey how bad it feels, lol, child birth doesn't come close! Seriously it's so sore it makes me feel sick..
I was in a pretty bad car crash in April btw.. Could it be delayed whiplash.? I really hope not :(
Anyway, any help available at all would make me happy now!! Lol!
I've had my 8 co-codamol + 3 Ibuprofin a day now and this isn't even taking the edge off the pain :(

Find a local reputable chiropractor and have a consultation with him/her.. Most will offer a free consult just to explain what chiropractic is and what it can do for you if you have never had an adjustment before.. It is possible that your neck was injured in the accident and didn't show up until now.. Whiplash is complicated diagnosis, but the flexion-extension injury that you probably experienced could have misplaced or "subluxated" vertebrae in your neck.. You should get good results from your chiropractor assuming that the condition is fairly uncomplicated.. i wouldnt you be waiting about 10 hours
if it has sort of froze and it hurts when you move it to one side (thats what i have) then it will hurt but if you move it to the side it hurts slowly it willl warm the neck muscle up and it should be okay it a couple of mins

You've waited this long, find a good chiropractor tomorrow and go to them or see your GP.. For the love of God if you have not sustained a traumatic injury just prior to the pain then don't go to the friggin Emergency DepartmentHealth Question & Answer

Could be a herniated disc.. I'd see your doctor ASAP.. I have 1 in my neck and 2 in my back, they are very painful..Health Question & Answer

I was in an auto accident in 1994, hit from the rear he didn't even try to use his brakes, drunk of course.. My neck and back did hurt after.. But now all these years later it is really bad.. It hurts all the time.. I do have bulging discs in my neck and go to chiropractor on a regular basis does help me..
but i will have to deal with this this this the rest of my life.. I rotate heating pad and ice pack.. on top of that i have horrible migraines.. I bought this stuff called
