I've just had a mole removed. When can i bathe the wound?!

Question: I've just had a mole removed.. When can i bathe the wound.?
Okay.. i had a mole removed at 2..30PM on Friday 25th May.. I've been told to cover it for a few days and avoid water (but not for how long).. Theres some dried blood and clotting.. I was just wondering if i let the wound get some air tomorow afternoon, and a couple of hours each day after, could i bathe it around Tuesday.? Wednesday.?
Or would this damage the healing process .? I have five double stitches (not dissolvable)

I am guessing that you really meant yesterday, not 2 months ago.. You could shower the wound after about 48 hours and gently pat it dry with a clean soft towel.. If the wound is on your upper arm for example and could easily avoid rubbing on clothes, you could then leave it uncovered.. If however it close to your hand and might be traumatised, or in an area that needs to be clothed, it needs redressed.. If however you were sitting down quietly at home, it could be uncovered even in these areas..Health Question & Answer

I had the same thing.. Just tie sumthin around your arm to cover the stiches.. They'll get messed up if they're wet..Health Question & Answer
