Hi, uh...... yeah i went to a football camp recentley because i am a quarterback and i want to beat out 3 older 8th graders(Im in 7th grade) for a starting spot.. Well, we were warming up and I jammed my middle finger.. I thought it would heal itself, However, it has been 2 weeks and it has gotten worse.. I can move it and bend it but not fully.. I see under the skin bruising near where my finger joins my hand, also near my knuckle.. Can you help me out.? By the way I have not gotten an X- Ray on it..Health Question & Answer

hey! I'm in 7th grade too! I was throwing a football with my friend and when I went to catch it and the tip of the football hit my middle finger.. And mine did the same thing.. I couldn't bend it, and mine bruised my the knuckle and joint.. My Dad thought it was just a bad jam.. It also could have been broken because now my finger pops out at the bottom where it is healed.. So your finger is either broken or bruised/jammed.. I would go and get an X-Ray just to make sure it isn't broken.. In the mean time just keep icing it.. Good Luck! :)Health Question & Answer
I am going to state the obvious and say that is NOT good.. Go to the hospital immediately and get an X-ray.. Because you neglected to take care of it properly it could be broken now.. I hope it's not but it is a good possibility.. I hope everything is ok though and I wish you the best of luck with football..Health Question & Answer
