Question: Ingrown Toenail ;; ouch !.?
I have an ingrown toenail.. I'm pretty sure the only way to get rid of it is going to the doctor since it's gotten so bad..
It's on the rightside of my left big toe; and it has this bloody/pus-like discharge coming out of it and it smells bad.. : /
I've been trying this Ingrown Toe nail Pain Reliver kit; and i thought it was working because everytime i'd use it; it would make more of the discharge come out and i thought it was cleaning it out fully.. Id leave it on there with a bandaid covering it overnight.. When id try to take the bandaid off; it hurts so bad because the discharge sticks to it !
What can i do to somewhat relieve the pain till Monday comes.?
and also, what will the doctor most likely do to get it out;
and will it hurt really bad.?.?

I suggest that you soak your foot in a bowl of hot "not scalding'
water with a antiseptic such as dettol in it,if you have no antiseptic use salt in the water..Do not apply peroxide,dettol
or any other antiseptic undiluted to the wound..

soak in a warm tub and try to dig it out yourself, that is the only way for it to heal.. Yes, they are very painful!!! i feel for you.. Put peroxide on it too that will rid of some of the infection..Health Question & Answer
