I went floating on the river today and got sunburned REAL BAd.... it is starting to blister.... any home remedies.?Health Question & Answer

Drink a lot of water and try not to have caffeine or a lot of salt.. Ibuprofin helps.. If you can stand it, a paste of baking soda and tepid water for about 10 minutes then rinse.. Use a fan but don't get chilled or turn on the A/C.. Real aloe is helpful - relieves the sting and conditions the skin..

YES, ALOE VERA IS DEFINITELY YOUR BEST BET.. THE REAL THING WORKS MUCH BETTER THAN THE GELS OR SPRAYS BECAUSE IT'S NATURAL AND MOST OF THE BOTTLED KIND HAVE ALCOHOL IN THE INGREDIENTS.. Aloe plants are AWSM!!! you just break off a leaf and goo comes out and you rub the goo (not rlly gooey, more liquidy) all over the burn and it feels sooooo good!!!
You should invest in an aloe plant..............go to Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Home Depot, any flower or gardening store........aloes are pretty too!!! :]

aloe works, next time wear sun screen, sun burns can be very dangerous, but I'm not one to talk I usually forget to put sunscreen on..
