Question: Is my pinky toe broken.?
i was walking in my backyard and one on my sisters moved a brick in the middle of the walk way and i kicked it hard and now my pinky toe is realy swollen and purply but i can walk on it no problem but it really hurts when you touch it and it is throbbing is it possible that it can be broken and i can still walk on itHealth Question & Answer

well when i broke mine it was sticking straight out to the side...... kind of obvious.. yours sounds like a break but im not a doctor of course.. i couldnt walk on it for like the first day.. i never went to the doctor because i assumed there was nothing they could do...... i mean its my pinky toe for god's sake...... but if i were you i would go in and have it looked at..
i tried to set mine myself and now it doesnt bend..
maybe they can set it and tape it or something..

Elevate it to a level above heart level, put ice on it.. Yes it could be broken, but they will just tape it to the next toe, if it is.. You could take some tylenol or ibuprofen for the pain.. If you want to know the ER doc can take some xrays, but I don't think there is much more that can be done..Health Question & Answer
