Ok so i have this annoying spot on my tongue.. Its really annoying and it stings.. It really hurts when i eat.. Whats caused it and how can i get rid of it.?

i say you either bit your tounge while you were eating........or you could have eaten something really really hot and it caused a burn.. sometimes you dont feel the burn or bite until a few days later.. so you could have not remembered biting it or whatever......
it could also be this thing called a canker sore.. those are annoying and sting when you touch them.. i usuallly get those on my lip =/

It could be caused by an allergic reaction.. Especially to acidy foods.. Whenevr I eat a tomato, I get one spot no my tongue and it kills, and stays for a couple days after same with bananas.. You should get a blood test done and see if you are allergic to anything..Health Question & Answer
