It all depends on how long it takes you to reach your maximum possible recovery status.. It can drag on for years ......depending on how fast you recover.. your attorney can't create a demand for your losses (medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering etc..) until you are deemed well or your doctors have extinguished every option for your recovery.. I suggest you just finish your physical therapy and discuss the severity of your injuries with your doctor to get a rough idea, unless you need further care such as surgeries etc..
