My jaw popped.?!
Question: My jaw popped...?
A week or so ago, I flopped back on my pillows and felt this numbing sort of pain run under my chin.. So, I sat up, and the pain continued up the left side of my cheek.. I swallowed, something popped, and the numbing pain stopped.. Can anyone tell me what happened, and how common it is, because last night and today, I'm paranoid to do it again.. :/Health Question & Answer

It just means your jaw popped out of place.. Or it may be TMJ.. TMJ is a dislocated joint in your jaw.. I have TMJ and what you described is how it feels.. If it persists or becomes bothersome you should see you dentist and ask about appliance therapy..Health Question & Answer
