Question: After toenail removal.......?

The doctor told me to keep it dry, but if I do; it starts to get really hard and difficult to walk.. I have a bad knee on that side; so I can't be walking funny.. I put a dab of neosporin on it to keep it a tad moist and comfy...... I was thinking neosporin couldn't hurt...... I keep it uncovered all the time..Health Question & Answer

I've had my toenail removed twice.. My doctor really didn't tell me to keep it dry.. I kept it bandaged with gauze for about a week.. I would take a shower with the gauze on, then put new gauze on after the shower.. I put some Neosporin on it, too.. It seemed to help.. It'll feel better in a few days..Health Question & Answer

i think ur best option is to go see ur doctor and see what he recommends
