Question: How long Till cracked tailbone heals(Please Answer).?
Ok my tailbone has been hurting for 1 month and a half and a week ago i went to doctors they sed it was cracked.. Now how long do i have to wait for it to heal.. Will there be any sideeffects when its heals.? And what can i do to make it heal faster should i ice it.?Health Question & Answer

Bones usually take about 6 weeks to heal, although it can take longer.. Remember RICE--Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation.. Unfortunately, the compression and elevation parts can be tricky for that particular bone, so.. .. ..but definitely ice.. Icing will help a lot.. 10 minutes every hour is the best.. 20 minutes several times a day is good too.. But make sure you have something like a towel between the ice and your skin--having ice straight on your skin is bad for your skin, it can kill skin cells..Health Question & Answer
They say 11 weeks but......I broken my tailbone on March 22nd, i train horses and i two days ago was the first time i could ride again, i tried at 11 weeks but no way it hurt to bad......It still hurts a little but it took a really long time to heal......Sitting is not your friend, your bum kills you get a donut pillow..Health Question & Answer
