Elbow pain, 4 months!

Question: Elbow pain, 4 months

Here are the details:
-Directly underneath elbow cap, within the joint area..
-Limited range of movement when reaching for my head..
-Unable to bend/extend arm in a fast motion.. Intense pain otherwise..

Things i've tried:
-Rest
-Ice
-Pain medicine
-X-ray

Questions:
-How do I get rid of this.? The doctor I saw wanted to try a steroid shot which I declined.. Is there anything else I can do for this.?Health Question & Answer

See a physical therapist.. They'll use non-invasive methods to reduce pain and inflammation (electrical methods) and also increase mobility..
