Question: Sometimes - rarely - when I stand up, from sitting down for a bit, I feel very dizzy and my sight is all fuzzy
When I squat down I lose the dizzy feeling and it goes away completely.. If I keep standing though I almost pass out.. What is going on.?Health Question & Answer

Dizziness can be caused from a variety of factors.. I agree with another answer posted here, that it could be a sign of an underlying health problem, or it could simply be the change of posture is too quick.. Common health conditions that cause dizziness are blood pressure disorders, and ear infections.. If this has occurred more than once or twice, I would make an appointment to see my physician to make sure there is no underlying health issue.. Good luck..Health Question & Answer

Its a fairly common response to switching positions from a low sitting site to a standing site.. Try to raise up slowly, consciously aware of what you're doing........don't just jump up........and if this does happen, slowly bend over, letting your head go lower than your waist..........If it happens often, go to your physician........once in a while is ok, but every day will be an indication of a problem perhaps..Health Question & Answer

It's your blood pressure rising because when you sit or lay down for a while, your blood pressure drops, so when you stand up....it spikes up.. It happens to a lot of people, it's nothing to worry about..Health Question & Answer

Me too!! I don't squat down, but I agree if I stay standing too long I feel like I'm going to pass out.. I have no idea what it is..Health Question & Answer
