kneeling on the ground with a heavy weight i hold on my feet and lifting it up and down multiple times

i think that it can be from both.. from running because it puts pressure on your knees, especially if you run for a long time.. and from lifting weights beacuse that also puts pressure, but i think this puts more pressureHealth Question & Answer
It could be from both.. You should get a mat so that you're not lying on a hard surface when you're working out..
also, if you're running, make sure you're wearing proper running shoes.. You can really do a lot of damage to your hips, knees and ankles, and all of your bones and joints if you're running without the proper shoes..Health Question & Answer

it could very well be from that..........
i mean that is stressful on the knees in all ways, but it could also be from running or a combination of both.. It it is from kneeling the pain might be on the outside a little bit more.. If it is from running it might be more inside pain and feel more muscular.. Health Question & Answer

Did you warm up before running.? It could be that.. I wouldn't of thought you would damage your knees with the weight thing But you might hurt your leg muscle.. Health Question & Answer
