I have a bruise under my toe nail since JUNE?!


Question: I have a bruise under my toe nail since JUNE.?
The bruise is in the center of my toe.. Now the center of the bruise is gone so now I have a black circle on my toe.. Its been WEEKS what should I do.?Health Question & Answer

I've had a bruise under my toenail for a little less than ONE YEAR..
but most aren't that severe..

you can't really do anything either..
bruises just take time to go away..

you can help it not get worse though by making sure your shoes don't apply a lot of pressure on it, or any other thing that comes in contact with your toe..

Looks like you have hit your toe somehow.. The actual bruise is the blood that has settled under the hit area.. It will take some time for the bruise to heal because the oxygen can not reach good enough under the nail.. It can take up to six months to heal but in some cases less..
