Sharp Pain in my Hip.!

Question: Sharp Pain in my Hip..

I can barely walk.. Every time I take a step it feels almost like my thigh bone is rubbing against my hip socket.. It kills..
Im not sure what caused it.. I just stood up and it started hurting..
Its been doing this for about 4 hours now..
I took some advil, but it hasn't kicked in yet..
Should I see a doctor for it.?
What can I do to make it better.?Health Question & Answer

If it is not better after 2 days on Advil, I would see the Doctor..

If it is simple inflammation or aggravation, 2 days of Advil should help.. You do not say your age, so it is hard to figure out what is going on.. Either way I would only wait 2 days and have it checked out if it is not better..Health Question & Answer
