Question: Does anybody know how to cure a really bad earache.?
I've been having this really bad earache for the past 2 days and when i lie down it gets so bad that i can't get any sleep.. Went to the doctor and he said it was an infection and gave me some eardrops, antibiotics and painkillers.. It doesn't seem to be working though, I was once again abruptly woken up with this searing pain in my right ear..
Any tips.? Because i really don't want to see a doctor again :|..Health Question & Answer

Drip a few drops of Hydrogen Peroxide in the affected ear and lay on the opposite side for a few minutes.. It feels strange, but cooling, and will help kill the bacteria and break up the fluid that is causing the pressure/pain.. Don't leave it in longer than 10 minutes or so, and lay the affected ear on a towel to drain..Health Question & Answer
Whenever air hits the inside of your ear it creates pressure which is part of the reason you feel pain.. For my sons the doctor always has me place a warm washcloth or a cotton ball with a small amount of sweet oil in/on their ears at night to help.. Health Question & Answer

i know it sounds weird, but pour a small bit of luke warm olive oil in your ear, and then put a warm compress on it.. also try some motrin or asprin..Health Question & Answer
