There are a number of ways.. The way most people do it is called a "snap inhale".. This is where you suck smoke into your mouth, then take the cigarette out and breathe in some air, which pulls the smoke down into your lungs.. Take small puffs and breathe in very slowly at first until you get used to it..
Another easy way to get started is to get a puff of smoke into your mouth, take the cigarette out, close your mouth, and just breathe in through your nose.. The air going down will pull the smoke down, too.. This makes the smoke very mild..
There is also the "direct inhale" and the "French inhale", but these are more advanced techniques to be used after you have been smoking daily for a few weeks..
