What type of sting hurts more, a bee or wasp!

I am a bee keeper so i feel pretty confident about answering this one.. I receive stings from honey bees on a regular basis because i don't like to wear gloves when I am tending my hives.. a honey bees sting is no big deal and i don't even slow down.. however a wasp sting will almost put me to my knees.. be and wasp venom is different a bees venom is used as an irritant to protect the hive while a wasp venom is used to kill its prey..
