The day after dancing, my whole body aches. How can I relieve the pain ?!
Question: The day after dancing, my whole body aches.. How can I relieve the pain .?
I feel it mostly in my legs, at the top of my arms and in my higher back..
People have told me that I should stretch to relieve the pain, but there's no way i'm trying that again.. I tried a few times, but the pain was too overpowering.. It makes it hurt even more..
I'm asking because I've got my dance exams on a Friday and I have a class the day before.. This'll make it impossible to dance properly and every step I take will be in agony..
So, is there anything I can do (besides stretching) to relieve the pain .?Health Question & Answer

Okay.. I have been in this achy state before.. You need to take some aleve or motrin.. Take a warm-hot bath and then get a good amount of sleep (at least 8 hours).. These are the only things that work for me when my muscles are overworked.. If you cannot find relief from the above try seeing a physiotherapist or sports medicine doctor, both are capable of helping you to alleviate your pain.. Hope you find relief soon......Good luck with your dance exams! Health Question & Answer
