Methadone is the most dangerous and addictive substance known to man..Please don't start taking it..Once you get that first high you will never stop and you won't stop chasing that high and you will end up taking more and more..It also takes the longest to detox from because the drug stores inside of your bones not the muscles like other opiates..

Someone who takes 50mg of Hydrocodone per day will have a tolerance to opiates if they have taken it for some time.. However, this does mean that they can take Methadone safely without a doctors supervision.. Actually, if it is computed with a convertor used by pharmacists the safe amounts is 5mg but that is with a doctors supervision.. So, no 10mg would not be safe nor would 5mg unless prescribed..
