None! I have never had a blood test before being given drugs.. Usually the result of the blood test dictates what drugs I need.. For example blood test shows high cholesterol, prescribe statin.. Blood test shows anemia, prescribe iron and so on.. Best of LuckHealth Question & Answer

Don't know.. Good reason to go to a private doctor.. Just look one up in the phone book and ask the receptionist if they are accepting new patients.. Besides its always better to have a doctor who know you.. That way when you are deathly ill on a weekend or Thanksgiving, you can get treatment more easily..Health Question & Answer
