ok meth is ok as far as pain relief dont go for ms contin it doesnt work for anything trust me on that..
The issue with meth is as mentioned overdose.. You dont get a "buzz" off it or that floaty happy feeling you get off the lors or oxies (u know what i mean).. also its harder to detox from as this stuff will get right down into your bones causing some major withdrawls.. Probably stronger, and worse then the ones you go through now if you dont take your meds..

Your Physician wants you to be on a long acting pain reliever..Lortab is short acting, and because it contains Tylenol he no longer wants you to take this med.. Tylenol damages your liver when it is taken over a long period of time.. Methadone is no longer prescribed for just addiction it is often prescribed for pain relief.. You should do what your doctor tells you to do.. If you have reservations, ask the pharmacist when you get the prescription filled.. He'll tell you whether the prescribed amount is safe and under what conditions its safe..

Do not take the Methodone.. It is so similar to herion its scary.. You will be on it for the rest of your life.. Unlike oxy or hydrocodone where you might have withdrawl for a couple of days maybe a week, methadone withdrawl lasts for months to a year.. Mscontin or oxycontin will work just as well and wont be as addicting Health Question & Answer
Methadone is a Great Pain killer drug.... Its a Long lasting medication.... THe reason why PEOPLE DIE from taking it.... is because there TRYING to get high.... and Over dose on it.... Methadone.... u dont get that HIGHNESS like taking oxycontin/ Ms-contin....

Please ask your doctor if he or she is very experienced with this drug.. It is causing more deaths these days than heroine or oxycodone.. I'd be cautious, unless he knows what he's doing and you are extremely compliant on dosage and not mixing with any other drugs or alcohol.. Health Question & Answer
