Question: Ok.. So I have a bump on my thigh.. It started out as if it were a mosquito bite.. Now after 2 days.........?
Now, after 2 days, it has turned red, gotten bigger, and is tender to the touch.. What should I do.?!.?! A relative suggested that it could be a minor hair bump, but I'm convinced that its something more.. Could it be a blood clot.? I really want 2 know whats going on.. I would appreciate all of the positive feedback.. Thanx so much!!Health Question & Answer

Answers:
It is NOT a blood clot..

It could be an abscess of some sort.. Anyway, get to your doctor and have it looked at.. In the meantime, you could put a clean washcloth that has been soaked in hot water on the area and keep applying that hot compress on it for about an hour.. Try not to squeeze or pop it..

Relax, it may look like something to worry about but it isn't.. Just get to your doctor tomorrow..

Hope this helps..Health Question & Answer

if your bump has a black center, it could be a MRSA infection, which is a staph infection and if not treated it could become serious....Staph skin infections, including MRSA, generally start as small red bumps that resemble pimples, boils or spider bites.. These can quickly turn into deep, painful abscesses that require surgical draining.. Sometimes the bacteria remain confined to the skin.. But they can also penetrate into the body, causing potentially life-threatening infections in bones, joints, surgical wounds, the bloodstream, heart valves and lungs..Health Question & Answer

It might be a spider bite or a rash.. Don't touch it, and if it's still there after a few more days, you might want to see a doctor or dermatologist.. I wouldn't worry too much though, and it's not a blood clot..Health Question & Answer
