How do you know for sure if you have a bone spur (ex: on the back of your heel).? How long are you in a boot after surgery, and how extensive is the surgery.?Health Question & Answer

A bone spur can only be definitively diagnosed by an x-ray.. They show up nice and clearly on plain film x-rays.. If you broke your heel or had surgery on it, then there is a good chance that bone spurs are what you have because they are common after a bad injury..Health Question & Answer
