How can I get rid of my hunch back?!

Question: How can I get rid of my hunch back.?
I've just turned 16 and over the past year I've noticed I've actually got abit of a hunch back, well my back is like an S shape, not litterally but its defiantly not straight as it should be.. I'm too embarresed to tell my mum or a doctor and I've read that I might have to have a big operation if its Kyphosis or somthing.. I'm scared about that, but are there any other ways of fixing my hunch.?Health Question & Answer

If its kyphosis, there isn't anything you can do to get rid of it permanently.. A chiropractor can't treat bones that have grown curved by manipulating soft tissue..

Depending on a back exam by a scoliosis specialist, you may be a candidate for bracing.. I believe that a scoliosis specialist can also treat kyphosis.. I could be wrong, of course.. If your back hurts all the time, you might be able to go to a pain management doctor.. Worst case is that you have corrective surgery, but that probably won't happen for a long time, if at all..Health Question & Answer

It sounds like scoliosis, but I am not positive...... Here's site with some info on it:

It would be good to go see a doctor and have it checked, just to keep track of its progress..Health Question & Answer
