Your eye isn't red.. It shouldn't be conjunctivitis.. A very common inflammation/infection of the eye in its conjunctiva, the layer that covers the eye in the front..
Its swollen.? I suppose you mean your eye lid is swollen.. It could be the inflammation/infection of your eye lid.. Its called blepharitis.. If your dad's eye problem went away on its own, so should yours.. But if it didn't, or if your eye hurts a lot, go see a doctor..Health Question & Answer

You could have a sty.. A sty is formed under your eye lid.. I is like a wart on your eye lid.. I had one and it went away in like 2 days so yours probably will too..Health Question & Answer
