I'm no doctor but hearing is one of my pet issues.. Your hearing is a relatively finite thing.. Meaning that the more noise you are exposed to the more hearing loss you will have over time.. Constant noises are worse than periodic louder noises.. So I would consider laying off the ipod for a while and keep the volume low when you do use it.. Avoid loud parties/concerts as this is guaranteed hearing damage.. also consider ear plugs.. I used to take a lot of NSAIDS and over the years found my hearing became very sensitive to noise (in addition to other symptoms) as well.. See a doctor too but give your ears a break in the meantime.. I only wish I could take back the abuse I've given my ears in the past!!Health Question & Answer
